When Access Density Matters
Traditional disk drive enclosures add more capacity to the data center but offer few improvements in data access density, averaging only 16 drives per unit. As a result, companies must integrate more systems to meet the performance demands, ultimately adding more space, power, and cooling requirements to the data center. Atrato’s data access storage system integrates 160 massively parallel disk drives into a compact five-inch enclosure.
